Riley was awarded the D.A.R.E. certification of achievement today at Lakeview Elementary. D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. This core program teaches elementary kids about drugs, what kinds there are and how bad they can effect you. The program has been going all year at Lakeview. Officer Partridge taught the classes and gave Riley his certification. Also, during the awards ceremony, Officer Beebe, from the Bomb Squad, came with his robot and showed the kids how it worked and also lit a small bomb in a funnel. What a great experience for Riley. Congrats!!
