Erika & her friend Katie (and Mom's too), went to the Covey Art Center in Provo, to see a free concert of the top Young Musicians winners from Utah Valley with a variety of instruments. It was amazing to see all of them perform. The first performers were a group of Violins & 1 cello playing Cercerto in B minor. The ages of these kids were from 11 to 6 years old. They were so cute and really good. Wonder how long they have been playing, especially the one that was 6 years old. Then there was a quartet that played two pianos, a Cellist that played, another quartet playing two pianos, a soprano singer that sang in Italian, another quartet playing two pianos, a Double Bass player and a single pianist. It lasted an hour and a half and was well worth it and the best part is that it was FREE. Erika & Katie both need a concert report for their school Orchestra, so this gave them a opportunity to get it and had some entertainment too.Monday, October 26, 2009
