On Tuesday night, Sharri and Erika decided to clean out the fridge and throw away some of the food that had been in there for a while. They used the sink with the disposal and then it started to come up in the other sink with all the gunk. Sharri tried to unclog it, turning off and on the disposal and waiting for a little while, but the water just went back and forth from sink to sink. We called a neighbor who is a plumber and he took apart the drains and tried to use his long snake down the pipes, but it still would not unclog. The next day, we finally had to call a different plumber with a stiffer snake to unclog the drain. It took him about an hour, and it was quite a mess. Needless to say, the drain is finally unclogged, but we need to be careful not to put egg shells, potato peels, onions or lettuce down the drain.
