Erika had her annual District Orchestra Concert tonight. They have all 13 elementary schools play together first for a couple of songs, and then the 2 middles schools play a couple of songs, and then the 2 high schools. They progressively get better in sound and strength. Erika is the section leader or the 2nd violins, so she was in the front this time, where we could see her. They played the theme song to "Lord of the Rings". It was amazing to listen to and hear how well they sound as a group. If you ever get a change to come to a concert, you will be amazed and what the students can do and play. Wish we could upload the video, but it is too long. Great job Erika!!Tuesday, March 30, 2010
