When Erika went to violin lessons today, her teacher gave her this trophy from the Utah Valley String Festival. We asked her why she received it and her teacher told her that she had one of the highest points in the competition. We don't know if this is adding up all the years she has done it, or for just this last one. Erika was sure either, but it is pretty cool to have it. Usually, she just gets a certificate of participation and we are okay with that. Erika is becoming a great violinist as we listen to her practice more and more. She loves to play in the orchestra, just not solos in church, but it is good for her. Great job Erika!!Tuesday, May 11, 2010
