Riley is going with his school TSA (Technology Student Association) to Baltimore Maryland today. He left at 12 pm on Southwest Airlines and will travel all day and get there at 8 pm. There are 8 boys and 1 girl competing. Riley is competing in the team bridge building and the airplane building flight. He was excited but a little bit nervous also. They will also be doing some fun tours as well. like going to Washington DC and the Orioles baseball game. He had to take his own money for food and other expenses, which is a little bit scary, but we have to trust him and let him grow up. It was hard to send him through security with a bunch a boys we don't know and his teacher that we have meet a few times. They are due back on Friday, July 2nd at 9 pm. It will be weird not to have him at home for a week, but at least he has a cell phone and we can call him and talk to him. We wish him good luck in the competition.
